In developments such as the Folsom Ranch master plan in Greater Sacramento, ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø has the opportunity to create an ideal place to live, work, and play while simultaneously conserving the natural beauty of the area. This master-planned community features 1,000 acres of protected open space, more than 500 contiguous acres of oak woodlands, and 138 acres of community parks.

Designed with the input of Folsom residents, and in an effort to preserve the natural and ecological beauty of Folsom Ranch, the ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø team undertook extraordinary measures to conserve the many native heritage oak trees throughout the future master-planned community, Regency at Folsom Ranch. ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø consulted with a professional arborist to identify key areas to conserve and adjust home lines to ensure that the trees could continue to thrive without the impact of human contact. Additional protection measures will include slit fencing to prevent residents from walking directly through the trees, as this could disrupt the compaction of soil.

ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø will also assist in the preservation of federally protected wetlands and the tricolored blackbird, while providing homeowners with several miles of trails through preserved open areas within the neighborhood.

“By preserving the heritage oak trees of Folsom Ranch, we assist in the preservation of nature while ensuring that every homeowner has the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of this area for years to come,“ said Scott Esping, ºÚÁÏÍø¹ÙÍø Division Vice President.
